Is an organization formed to introduce new residents to one another and the community by providing social events and activities.
Newcomers of the Pinehurst Area was established in 1985. The goal, as a social organization, is to help new residents of the Pinehurst area cultivate new friendships and to become acquainted with their new community. Anyone who is a resident of Moore County is invited to join.
Board meetings are held in the Chapman Board Room at the Pinehurst Members Club on the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. (or via teleconference). If that Monday is a holiday (or there’s a scheduling conflict), the meeting will be rescheduled. All members are invited to attend; however, only the Executive Board and Committee Chairs may vote on action items.
